Polygraph examination is a precise and technical procedure, not to be entrusted to someonewho does it cheaply. We often re-examine people who have been tested elsewhere.
 

POLYGRAPH EXAMINATIONS:

 
The Polygraph examinations are administered by one of our selected Polygraphists. The resultof each examination is scored by Polyscore (a computerised program designed by the JohnsHopkins University - Applied Physics Laboratory) and manually scored using either the Horizontal or the Academy's Algorithms method as accepted by the APA (AmericanPolygraph Association).We confirm that we include a Forensic Assessment, pre-test and post-test interviews as well as an attempt to obtain a confession when applicable. Our Polygraphist will advise the result verbally at the completion of each examination and providea comprehensive report the following day. Examinations can be observed on camera only byprior arrangement. The Polygraph examinations take approximately two hours and are preferably administered at our offices in Dunvegan, Edenvale.

FORENSIC ASSESSMENT INTERVIEWS:

 
The Forensic Assessment Interview is an Interview technique whereby all verbal andlinguistic responses are noted and assessed during an interview of a subject by the Examiner.This technique is SCAN based. SCAN (Scientific Content Analysis), technique consists of numerous physiological issue and control questions which are strategically placed. The responses to these questions are then assessed and evaluated by the Examiner.

SCAN: (Scientific Content Analysis)

 
This is a technique whereby a statement or questionnaire is completed by a subject and thenanalysed and evaluated. The Analysist is then able to advise whether the statement is of a deceptive nature or not, and furthermore which issues are sensitive to the subject. The Forensic Assessment Interview and SCAN (written) is most effectively used as an elimination process when working with a large number of possible suspects. The SCAN technique widely used by the FBI, CIA and Justice Departments in the United States of America, and has recently become a recognised investigative method utilised by the industryin South Africa. This technique is used in conjunction with our Polygraph examinations and Pre employment Evaluation examinations.

FORENSIC PRE EMPLOYMENT:

 
Each potential candidate completes a comprehensive Pre Employment Questionnaire and isthen interviewed by our Analyst and all responses are noted and scored. Should the Analyst have reason to believe that the candidate's answers/responses are of a deceptive nature, thecandidate can be requested to undergo a polygraph examination so as to clear these uncertainties.

POLYGRAPH PRE-EMPLOYMENT:

 
The candidate also completes the Pre Employment Questionnaire and is then subjected to apolygraph examination so as to ensure the truthfulness of all the answers submitted by the subject.
